I think there is scope for restaurant reviews. I have been on another site looking at their ones.

....only downside to "restaurant reviews" is that nowadays they seem to change hands/chefs quite frequently,so a review from more than 6 months ago may not be reflective of the current situation.

However, it is something that people like to research and I know that I will look at the recent reviews and not got read back to far. Lots of people buy guidebooks and base restaurant choices round what they read there, but a website can be much more up to date.

Our local pub/"restaurant" used to have a Chinese upstairs -closed ~ 18+months ago -still comes up when you Google for local restaurants!!!

I would be a bit worried then if you have read reviews for it recently then!
