Indeed you will Very, very good price too I only really know the other end of the island so sorry, can't help with bars and restaurants, but have a great time.

If you just want to chill out, I'd recommend the 'Green Corner' pub which is just opposite the Municipalty beach turn off, very good food, nice people & you can see the sea from there too but not much

Another place for good food is the 'Kings Bar, it's opposite 'O'Neills' bar.

For a great meal out at night, you should try Chloes2 Chinese, fantastic food, great atmosphere & very authentic looking, plus great views over the Med
You'll see a load of changes after 6 years, not all great one's but if you travel around Paphos while you're there, you'll see load of road works going on as they install the new sewer system, it makes a lot of mess & driving can be a little difficult if you don't know where you're going so be careful.

Thanks, had a great week and fantastic appartments - Tasmaria on the Tomb of the Kings Road, can definately recommend them. Had some good meals and drinks and will definately return to Paphos soon hopefully. There were changes but I still enjoyed it and I think most places I have gone back to over the years have changed! It was 1989 the first time I went to Paphos Had a car a couple of days and went to Coral Bay, Latchi and Polis and found changes but not as much as Paphos. I think down the Tomb of the Kings will alter this next year if they go ahead with the 4 line road they are planning to Coral Bay and businesses are going to lose frontage. I do think the road and paths down there do need updating but does it really need a 4 lane road! Also wish they were not building a driving through McDonalds on the Tomb of the Kings road - they just seem to be everywhere. It is not that I am against them (my daughter works for them part-time) but they do stand out and the KFC down there is an eyesore too.

All the updates you've mentioned are to attract more tourist but like you say, they're an eyesore, so may have the opposite affect & put tourist off, as for the 4 lane road to Coral Bay, that's more likely for the new Marina they're going to build in Banana Bay just before Coral Bay turn off the only problem is, if there are 4 lanes, that means the idiot drivers who can't drive to save there lives will end up racing down there at 200kph & hurting themsleves or others, so personally I don't think increasing it to 4 lanes is a good idea but hey, I'm just one resident from 100's of thousands
