I am looking to book an apartment in Alicante in October this year. I have never been but have got a good deal on some flights. I have tried numerous websites but they all offer me accommodation in Benidorm or neighbouring resorts but nothing much in Alicante itself - apart from one or two very expensive hotels. Is Alicante quite a small resort? It doesn't appear to be on the map. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
