We too are returning to Alcudia this year after 2 years elsewhere.... I dare say Shrek will still call in at Cheers and be nervously biting his fingers (at least thats what it looks like he is doing)

Just back from 10 days in Alcudia.... called into Cheers bar a couple of evenngs on the way back to our apartments....(the kids used the internet in the hotel across the road and we drank the Fat Frogs on special offer at cheers )

It was 4 years ago when we were last there but the entertainment doesnt seem to have changed much... they still did the go fetch game, musical chairs & statues, followed by the usual songs including the King of Karatacus and We are the Cartoon Heroes for the kids.....and then stuff your mouth with marshmallows and name the song/artist and down a shot for the adults.

The character this year was oopsy daisy (in the night garden)

I was suprised this year by the number of people in the bar...4 years ago it was heaving in there and you couldnt get a table after 9pm... this year they were lucky if they were able to fill the inside let alone the terrace....I guess the credit crunch has hit all the bars hard this year....
