nuttynet,
I can only advise you on the yell. It's a lovely hotel but on a quite short steep hill and a good 25 mins walk into Hisaronu down hill(up hill coming home never ever walk home, to far).We have been about 6 times but before it went all inc.The Yell is at the back end of ovacik.Hope this helps.
We stayed at Sun Club City a few years ago which is lovely its All Inclusive to
We have been to other parts of Turkey, and (as usual) always went all inclusive.
However, we found we we missed out on lovely excursions, exploring properly, and boat trips which also provide food,
and it's
also still so cheap to eat out, that the best option for us is either B&B, or self catering in Turkey.
I believe that unless you just plan to stay around your hotel, that going all inclusive
in Turkey is a bit of a false economy.
Does anyone else agree, or is it just me?
we always gp to turkey either self catering or private appartments but as there is a large group felt it would be better to go all inc its very hard to get a restaurant to take 18 people and even harder when it comes to buying rounds.also some fo the all inclusives are only £60 a week so if we feel the need to eat or drink out we can.
celine did i read that you went to armar in marmaris what did you think of that? this another option we are looking at.
I didn't think of trying to book a table in restaurants for 18 people (duh)
I'll try and read the questions properly next time!!!!!
Best All Inc in Marmaris are Green Nature Resort and Spa hotel the Gran Pasa Hotel Emre Beach Hotel also the Grand Ideal
If you book it earlier enough there is good prices out
We just got our flights for Antayla for next year 118 each for 2 weeks got a 5 star ultra All Inc for 990 for 2 off us still only 1200 for 2 weeks.
We just got back from Green Nature Hotel we paid 2000 for 6 off us for 2 weeks but i did get flights and hotel for that last year the first day off realise
There is lots off cheap sites on to get good All Inc hotel off main things is you need flights first has they do shoot up so fast.
Our next yr holiday as already shot up by £300 since last week x
thank you celion for you reply, most of the group have never been to turkey but i have persuaded them to try. i am now stuck as i would be happy witha good b and b but they all want all inclusive and as you know the reviews are not good. the best at thr mo i can come i=wirh are the armar matmaris, yell hissarone and the turquoise olu. any help would be appreciated but the flight s are not cheap at 187 from catdiff so the accomodation has to be resonable.
If you stay at Sun City in Olu Deniz you can also use all the facilities and eat at The Olu Deniz Resort Hotel and also The Tropicana. These are very nice but not 5* or anything. The thing is with Olu Deniz, there are so many fabulous bars and restaurants you may be sorry to be all inclusive. I know if we did that we wouldn't get our money worth as my husband likes to eat at different places.
if you think that £187.00 is expensive try flying from Newcastle, i think the best price we were quoted was £260.00 and the luggage was extra. As for A/I against say selfcatering i know it more expensive but this year we went back to Ovacik, we have visited most of the surrounding area but still went to Oludeniz etc. however with the cost of eating and drinking going up in Turkey, a beer or a soft drink can cost you £2.00 plus, you soon go thru a lot of money and you do not get a lot of Lira for your pound!
