Various French air traffic control unions have given advance notice of industrial action for next week, as required by French law.
There may be disruption to all traffic passing through French airspace and at French airports on WEDNESDAY 21 JULY; the problems could start on the Tuesday evening and end on the Thursday morning, depending on the actual time that the Air Traffic Controllers start their action.
The amount of disruption will depend on how many of the ATC staff go on strike, but you might be advised to:
1) Look at your departure airport's website to see if any delays or cancellations have been advised
2) Contact your tour operator
3) Check if you are covered for delays and cancellations on your travel insurance ... and take a copy of the paperwork showing your entitlement with you to the airport.
I would suggest that you go to the airport IN GOOD TIME - even perhaps earlier than you planned - and take something useful if you are delayed .... an extra book, some snacks and enough money to buy a drink or two airside, as you won't be able to take more than 100 ml in the form of a drink (or any liquid) through security.
