HOTELS near WATERLOO STATION in LONDON

Hello,

I am going to London on 15th October for 3 nights:

Friday Night - see a show
Saturday - sight seeing and UFC
Sunday - Thorpe Park

It will be good to be near Waterloo Station as this is where we need to get the train from for Thorpe Park and I know we can pick up the major underground lines from nr there to get around London.

Can anyone advise of a good hotel 3* above but on a budget! The best I have found is Days Hotel Waterloo for £65 per night.

Does anyone have any views on this hotel or know of a better hotel for me to stay at?

You can refine the search to Waterloo.

There's the County Hall Premier Inn....just next to the London Eye....

Very good, easy walking distance from Waterloo, and over the river to the City even as far as Leicester Square and Chinatown etc. if you don't mind a hike past Trafalgar Square. It also has a left luggage room for your final day, if you dont want to leave early.

but it can be a bit pricy...showing £330 for the 3 nights for a double room and no breakfast (mind you there is a little convenience store opposite where you can buy rolls, milk etc.). it's the Saturday night which is the killer at £150...the Sunday is only £69! (they must know there's something on, on Saturday :think

)

Thanks for the replies.

I went on booking.com and booked the London H10 Waterloo for quite a bargain - it was cheaper than Days Inn Waterloo and looks so much better!!!
