Hello,
I am going to London on 15th October for 3 nights:
Friday Night - see a show
Saturday - sight seeing and UFC
Sunday - Thorpe Park
It will be good to be near Waterloo Station as this is where we need to get the train from for Thorpe Park and I know we can pick up the major underground lines from nr there to get around London.
Can anyone advise of a good hotel 3* above but on a budget! The best I have found is Days Hotel Waterloo for £65 per night.
Does anyone have any views on this hotel or know of a better hotel for me to stay at?
Thanks in advance!

Do a search on
Very good, easy walking distance from Waterloo, and over the river to the City even as far as Leicester Square and Chinatown etc. if you don't mind a hike past Trafalgar Square. It also has a left luggage room for your final day, if you dont want to leave early.
but it can be a bit pricy...showing £330 for the 3 nights for a double room and no breakfast (mind you there is a little convenience store opposite where you can buy rolls, milk etc.). it's the Saturday night which is the killer at £150...the Sunday is only £69! (they must know there's something on, on Saturday )
So I don't think I've helped much
Good luck!
Thanks for the replies.
I went on booking.com and booked the London H10 Waterloo for quite a bargain - it was cheaper than Days Inn Waterloo and looks so much better!!!
Thanks for your help x
Nice one, glad to help
