Hi we are off to Benidorm for the first time in October.....firstly will everything still be open?? And 2nd can anyone reccomend a hotel...Im looking for one that is close to all the action and shops and not too far walk away from everything, although we have children there are a few of us going and my sister will kindly babysit for us
We dont mind noise and lots of people either. I also notice that On the beach are offering free children places...has anyone else booked with theese, just wondered if there was any hidden extras etc? Thanks xx
Hi lauza070385 ... while you wait for some hotel recommendations, you may like to check out topics in our Tour Operators forum and also our Holiday Complaints forum, for feedback and opinions of OnTheBeach.
October is still busy and everything is open, as it is an all season resort, but not sure about the water parks etc.
The Servigroup hotel chain IMO are the best ie Calypso, Orange, Venus and Pueblo.
The Rio Park hotel is a good 3star family hotel also The Regente.
Hope this helps...you will love Benidorm if you like a busy atmosphere.
I think any of the Hotels that Caz has mentioned would be a good choice, if your a bit wary of On The Beach, try looking on Travel Republic, i've always found them very good on price and have used them many times.
Yeh as Taggy says try Travel republic for booking accomodation separately, don't know where you would be flying from but suggest you book flights seperately too. Also transfers from and back to airport will be needed TR could also arrange this.Find S/C to be the best option in Beni eating and drinking out so cheap( have a look at Buenavista apartments,Gemelos 22, Terralta these all come highly reccommended)Cheers Steve.
I'd perhaps class the food as basic buffet type which I imagine is like most hotels. Not sure of entertainment as we were out at night until the early hours...
One bit of advice I'd give - make sure you know where your hotel is regardless of where you are - I spent hours walking around in the early hours trying to find our hotel and the Spanish people didn't have a clue where our hotel was! Either that or they just didn't understand or blanked you.
We stayed at the Helios last year but we did B&B and then ate out in the evenings. A very nice clean hotel 5 minutes walk from the main street.
Perhaps you would like to update our Helios reviews with a brief review of your stay http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/spain/costa-blanca/benidorm/helios-hotel/

I will have a look at the hotels you have all mentioned and be booking soon
