We enjoyed our sunshine holidays so much this summer in Cyprus and Turkey, that we've booked for next July already! As we want to experience different places now, we've decided on Crete and booked a villa for 2 weeks near Chania. I'll have plenty of time to read all the old posts to see what we should do when we are there.

Got back from a fantastic holiday in Georgiopolis on 7th Sept re booked for 12th July 2011, also hoping to visit Aghia Marina at the end of August.

You'll find the area west of Chania far less British. In fact if you spot one it's a rarity these days. In relation to the East of the island that's a bonus!
