hi, im just wondering if tunisia is baby friendly,as in if i needed medical care for him would i be able to get it and is it of a good standard? and are essentials such as nappies, milk etc easily available? how re the locals with babys. is there any particular resort to consider or to avoid?
sorry for all the questions but im conisdering a hol with my 7 month old (will be at the time) and i want to make sure he will be safe and have any needs caterd for if needed, if this is unlikley here id rarther go somewhere eles or even leave it for another time, maybe next yr.
if i know theres good medical assistance around if its needed and facilities good etc then i will be able to relax much more.
can anyone help? were thinking of going november if that makes any diference to choosen resorts or anything.
( know i have posted another topic but i have had no replys as of yet anyway and thought id post a new post so my question is noted)
Tunisians love babies and children and he will be much admired. I have never travelled there with a baby but they have chemists and supermarkets in all the big towns and most things will be available. The doctors I've had occasion to deal with have been very good and speak adequate English. I really only know Sousse and Port El Kantaoui but will be back in Sousse in October so if there are particular things you are worried about finding I can check it out for you. The weather should be still warm in early November, and will be much better for him than in the height of summer.
thankyou, that sounds good.
