Hi
My husband and I have just booked a flight to Malaga 22 December for 1 week. We are not sure where to base ourselves, but would prefer to go south. Are places still open at christmas? We would prefer not to hire a car but will if we need to, and rent an apartment, any ideas of areas that would be handy to walk to buses, trains, and promenades for walking. We are in our 60's, not into partying but don't want to be in a place that's all closed up.
any help - we've never been away for Christmas before.
if you go south you will be in africa, fuengirola would be best for you as its flat, mostly open as xmas, sea front is 5 miles long
there are all sorts of bars and restaurants open, the theatre and the zoo. The Confortel Hotel where we stayed last year is right on the beach and two mins from the bus and train. Any accommodation on the promenade is within easy walking distance of the bus and train
thanks.
