Just got back from GS. Yet another great holiday, staying at the pliska B&B. the hotel was still very good value and the rooms kept clean everyday. The staff of Nadan,Meto and diana were very helpful and still remembered us from last year, mind this was our 6th time. I have a message for June, Evo from angels sends his regards. We spent a lot of time in angels as the food is always good and Evo was promoting his angus beef steaks, boy were they good HA!.
Visted our friend Melena and went to her parents up in the hills, they put on a lovely spread and drinking papa`s rakia made a good night brilliant. The weather held up for all of the 2 weeks, lovely sunshine.
We met a couple from wales who changed there holiday from the Vasharva to the pliska after reading poor reviews of the vasharva, a good move by them as the hotel was reported to have a stomach bug involving most of the guest.
GS still looks good entertainment wise with plenty of activities,went down to see jerry in hurry ramsdens and got the usual friendly greeting followed by his breakfast with of course proper saugages & HP sauce. We will be booking up for next year for the pliska and get a discount off the travel agent + the balkan discount a nice touch. Only 12 months to go
