You could try the good old fashioned telephone.
Have you tried these numbers
+357 23 832 833 or +357 99 688 358

Thought about that, would cost a fortune surely?

I phoned Cyprus on my mobile (Vodafone contract) and it cost me £1.43p for 1 minute 47 seconds. A quick call may not go amiss at least you should be able to find out why they are not answering your emails.

Thanks,i will do it now, can't settle until i do lol.

Hi all,

Just called them and the gentleman i spoke to told me that he does not know if there will be any availability next year, but would not elaborate any further on the matter.

Well, at least i know now, just have to keep looking.

Thanks for all your help.

Yes Glynis i think you're right, also just had some news about the apts that i was going to book, seems like they are in a really quiet area away 10 mins away from the centre :(

Back to square one,we need to book something pretty soon as the flights are already booked.

Have you tried the Rising Star? They seem to get good reviews and are central.

Hi

Yes i have tried the Rising Star, they don't have any availability and also i believe they have kids clubs and it gets quite busy around the pool area, wanted something a bit quieter.Having said that we are going early July so maybe not as busy as late July/August.

I seem to be going round in circles at the moment, not sure what to do,i know one thing though,if i leave it any longer we will end up with somewhere we are not very happy with, best get a move on.
I am still looking through a few apts that are central, checking all the reviews and finding out as much information as i can, hopefully have something sorted by the weekend.

Regards

Have you tried any of the following, all quite central in Protaras; Sunrise, Vangelis, Brilliant, Capo Bay. We have stayed at the Alva for the last 9 years, they are clean and the staff are brilliant. The pool is not very good but that does not bother us as we prefer to go to the beach. It is getting quite dated now but its ok for a base.

Hi MickL,

Yes i have tried all of those apts, not the hotels you mentioned though as we need an apt.

The Vangelis and the Brilliant are very expensive for our dates.Alva apts don't have any air conditioning in the lounge, which is a must as the temps will be very high.

I think in the past we have been spoiled lol,as all the apts we have stayed in have been very high quality and the ones in Protaras just don't compare, but as you say it's only a base.

Thanks

Have you tried the Sweet Memories? Some of our friends stayed there this year. Its on the main road between Protaras and Penera and in easy walking distance to the main strip. I believe its going to have some refurb work done this winter.
