Just back from a fab holiday in Turkey and want advice on where to go next time. We stayed at Club Anastasia in Marmaris and whilst I wouldn't dream of going back there, would love to go back to Turkey. Hated Marmaris itself but luckily our apartments were set quite far back in Armutalan and so we didn't need to be anywhere near the centre. In fact, since friends were staying in Icmeler, we spent quite a bit of time there.
There will be 2 adults and 4 children this time although the two girls are 15 and will nedd some privacy. The boys are 7 and 9 and so they will need waterslides etc. We found that we spent a lot of money on food and so would probably go AI. Can anyone recommend somewhere that fits the bill?
Incidentally, Club Anastasia is excellent accomodation with good facilities, it's just that it's in Marmaris
hi look at arcada golf resort belek see reviews on tripadvisor near belek on the beach also have discos for the girls water slides
Thanks for that but I should have said that I really don't fancy that part of Turkey. Not keen on staying in a hotel complex for the whole time. We would like to get out and about
Have a look at the Bodrum peninsula - there's quite a few resorts to choose from and exploring the peninsula is easy. We've spend a total of six months there this year (two three-month periods) and had a fantastic time. There's plenty of places to choose from so it may be worth you researching the area.
