We've already booked flights to go out on 8 April (returning 4 July) and 26 August (no return flight booked yet) - luckily we have a house in Turkey and so can spend plenty of time there. Roll on 2011!!

It can be, yes. I normally don't go until September when the temperatures have dropped a little. Even so, you can expect up to and sometimes in excess of 40c through the day and late 20's / early 30's through the night. Air conditioning or a fan in rooms is welcome.

It is hot but you get used to it quickly, July can be quite Humid. We always go the first two weeks in August, lowest I saw this year at night was 32C at midnight, mid 40C's in the shade during the day.

Drink plenty of water during the day, at night drink a glass of water at least every third drink, I find that taking my shoes off and using ice on my wrists helps cool me. Be careful of the sun and use high factor sun cream, keep out of the sun between 12:00 and 14:00.

You will have a great time, cant wait for our visit in 2011.

We went to WOW Bodrum the first two weeks in August this year. There was a lovely breeze most days so whilst it was very hot it was bearable. It's a fantastic hotel,we are booked for August next year. Enjoy :cheers
