The only hotel I can comment on is the Dream Beach Resort. We visited there back in Dec 07. I can't comment on the reef although I believe it is very good. The hotel is built on the side of a cliff and access into the water is via a jetty into deep water. As for the hotel itself ...... it wasn't for me, and I wouldn't return. I found the rooms in need of an update also the pool area had seen better days. As for the food, it was OK as far as buffet restaurants go, but on two occasions during our one week holiday we waited so long for a table that we gave up and went into Naama Bay to eat. My husband doesn't drink alcohol, and bottled water was payable. When we questioned this with the rep, we were told to take an empty bottle to the bar and they would top it up ....... don't think so!!! We did eat in one of the a la carte restaurants (extra charge) and while the food was better, the service left a lot to be desired .... we walked out before getting our desserts as we waited so long. Things may have improved since our visit, but there are better hotels in Sharm to spend your money.
