Other than finding their site and a disgruntled web design company there seems to be very little known about this outfit.
To be honest i tried Companies House and i can't even find a listing in there mentioning this Company you refer to.
After looking at the site of this Company i am unsure why you booked with them after all if a company can't even produce a trading address should you really book with them.
Sorry but it looks to me like a 1 man or woman outfit

My understanding is that Transfer Intelligence is not a resort transfer operator as such. It is perhaps more of a 'middleman' providing an online reservation service for airport/resort transfer bookings which will be passed to third party companies.

Thanks for your input. After much searching, I (finally) came across this small article in the timesonline website about this company.

The aricle was published back in 2004, so i'm guessing if it wasn't a genuine service, the company still wouldn't be around after all this time! I also spoke to someone on tripadvisor because I noticed he had recommended the service to someone. He said he works for a tour operator and has never had any problems with this company.

And just one other thing. I, myself, checked on companies house and did find their details. You must have put in their details wrong gopher.

Hi Frenchlearner ... I can see that the company has been mentioned only a handful of times in some of our forums, but only ever in relation to quotations. No one has ever provided feedback on service, in fact I can't see anyone who has previously mentioned having made a booking with them.

However, feedback for companies such as this which are merely booking agents can often be misleading, as the actual transfer is operated by one of many third party companies acting on behalf of that agent, and standards of service between transfer operators can vary considerably.

Hopefully everything will be okay with your transfer, and that you might be able to pop back and give us some positive feedback about both the booking process and the actual transfer.

Quite a number of weeks ago, I asked about the above company as I had booked a transfer with them. I can now tell you of my actual experience with them.

The lady who sorted out everything for me was very friendly and helpful and as for the actual transfer, everything went lik clockwork! The driver was waiting for us when we arrived and quickly whisked us away to our taxi. On the day of departure, we had the same driver AND he turned up 15 minutes early! He was very friendly and helpful - especially when he had to stop twice because of my daughter feeling sick.

So, yes, I most certainly do recommend them (well, for trips in France anyway) I was informed that this particular taxi firm has been working with Transfer Intelligence for 4 years.

Hey folks. I used Transfer Intelligence recently and I found them great. I spoke to one guy and one girl on the phone who were both really friendly and then decided to make my booking via telephone. The quote I got from them was cheaper than the other transfer companies I phoned. My lift turned up on time, the driver was really helpful, I had loads of luggage and he put it all in the vehicle for me, journey went smoothly and no problems! They were very professional. Would use them again.

What a pity that neither of the last 2 people could actually tell us what the journey was.

The Newcastle-u-Lyme address given earlier is a firm of accountants. This company is French although the website may have been started in the Potteries. The current domain registration mentions a Michelle english-surname in Stoke. However, the site is almost identical to http://www.lemantransfers.com which is obviously the same company (and shares phone numbers) but the domain registration for this is to a Michelle french-surname and the French address of the company is shown at http://www.lemantransfers.com/index/info/Contact_Us/32

They seem to be a professional organisation along the lines of ABTA for French travel businesses, mainly to support their members.

In France every legitimate business has to be registered. This is called a SIRET number and for Leman transfers their number is SIRET : 494 347 446 00010. Their category of business is Code APE: 633Z which covers companies registered as Travel Agents .... Agence de Voyage.

These two local offices might be able to suggest ways to discuss the matter of unsatisfied clients with you ...
