I haven't managed to buy this yet I can't wait to see it! Sounds like its worth picking up on my next trip out

loved it, hubbie and i watched it every week on tv, if its the same one your talking bout hes so funny, ive read up on him and he really is like that in real life i thought he was just being funny about the places he visits. but it seems not, would love to have him as my neighbour, bet he would be a laugh,

I love this programme- so funny yet you do find out a lot about the destination. Its usually somewhere on Sky so worth looking out for.

It's absolutely hilarious . It was on sky 1 a few months ago (weekly) and I had missed most of the series by the time one of my children came down the stairs laughing their heads off one evening . I managed to catch most of the repeats on sky 2 before christmas but there are still a few I havnt seen . The great wall of china & the Petra one for sure.

Hmm I remember one where he was offering his packet of monster munch around , he had to trek through the jungle on that one didnt he .I remember" the wonder" where he couldnt be bothered and filmed it from a distance & I was creased up laughing but I'm sure it wasnt the great wall of China .

I've seen the rio one with all the men prancing around in their thongs , india, Cairo (with the dirty nappies whizzing through the air , so not like the brochure ) ., what have I missed.

I'm fairly certain too that Ricky Gervais & his mate from Extras are making another series. Carl Pilkington is a friend of theirs in real life isnt he .

We watched all the programmes on Sky before Christmas.....we really enjoyed them, very funny.
Some of his comments were so dry, think the reason why Ricky and Stephen sent him was because he was just himself, no airs and graces and he had a go at doing all the things that he was asked to do, eventhough he obviously didnt reallly want to do them.....
