Sorry havn't stayed at the Bachata but have been to the other two hotels the Merengue and Mambo for the last couple of years, in fact going back to the Mambo in March.
You can use the facilities of all three hotels, you just have to have your evening meal in the hotel you are staying at.
The sea is a bit rocky so you might need swim shoes, but you can always find a sunbed and once you are in the sea it's lovely.
Your hotel looks very nice especially the restaurant. Also the staff of all three hotels are very friendly and always polite.
As for the locals, we experienced more of them last September than in March, but they were no problem at all, very polite and well mannered.
Hope you enjoy your stay
Sue
