Hi Fin,
Hermes is in central Armutalan close to all the restaurants. it is a fair way to the beach and town centre (30 mins stroll) but the dolmus is cheap, regular and drops you in both areas.

Chelsea boy thanks for your reply but do you know anything about the actual hotel or just the area, as we are thinking of booking this hotel for two weeks in June.

Hi Fin,
it has decent sized pool and bar/restaurant. From what I am told it is of a reasonable standard and is part a chain including Royal Plaza( which is nearby). it is set back away from the noisy parts of Armutalan but only a short walk to the amenities. Several tour companys use the hotel but if you are independant travelling give me a pm and I will see what prices they quote for you

. Unfortunately we go to the Hermes Hotel on the 21st of June so you will be back home before we are there. I would have loved to meet up with you for a drink if we had been there at the same time, still looking for anyone who has been to the Hermes Hotel in Marmaris

my mother stayed there last year and was happy with it, said it was clean and standards were reasonably good, so you should be ok

Hi,

The hermes hotel is next to the Royal Plaza, and also next to a very nice bar (i forget the name) owned by a British woman called Jan, full of drunken expats! Do pop in!

The hermes hotel is where the lable "72" is.

DO NOT Stay in this hotel.

We had the misfortune to stay there last August, and it was a dump.

Poor food, shoddy service, scruffy rooms, unhelpful staff, poor facilities. Never cleaned. No bedding changes. Constant harassment INSIDE the hotel to eat there.
The list is endless. All round one out of ten, and that was for being in a good location.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in bar none. ANY WHERE ANY TIME.

Spend more money, upgrade, go elsewhere.
Do anything but stay at the Hermes.  :!: :!:
