Ha ha whats throat burn? lol. Thats a good price from thomson but we are flying with TC so any idea where i will find out their prices and even if they sell it on the flight. No good asking the TA as she told us we are on one plane and its not, its the one with no inflight entertainment. Hmmmmmmmm doesnt sound too good cos by the time your on the flight its too late. Oh well never mind! I just need to know wether to buy it here as i dont want to get stuck in turkey with something i dont like. Thanks again for the reply
alababy, there is a duty free in the arrivals hall at Bodrum airport so you will be able to buy there. You can buy at your departure airport and the prices are very similar to the airline prices.
There's a link to Thomas Cooks inflight magazine on our What Aircraft? guide where prices for all thier inflight products are listed. You'll just need to register with Ink Publishing to gain acces (follow the links).

Forgot to ask does anyone know what the allowance is if i but it on the way to Turkey?
The customs limit for importing items in to Turkey without incurring any duty is 200g of tobacco and 200 cigarette papers as far as I know, or 200 cigarettes and 50 cigars. A further 400 cigarettes, 100 cigars and 500g of pipe tobacco may be imported if bought on arrival at a duty free shop.

Going to Turkey I have always been able to buy 1000 cigarettes duty free going into Turkey WITH the warning that you can only bring 200 back in to the UK.
My son and daughter-in-law are off to turkey next week and are unsure if they are allowed to bring tabacco back. Is Turkey in the EU now?
Merged with existing topic. I posted the limits above. Dazbo HT Mod
