We were just up the road at the Iberostar over Christmas and I was looking at some tour brochures that had boat trips from Maroma Beach and the area looks absolutely stunning.

Never been but we dropped a young couple there on our way to the Royal in Playa del Carmen. On the pick up on the way back they said they had a wonderful time. It looked great!
