Good Afternoon,
I will be travelling to Lake Garda this June and have been hearing mixed opinions regarding the prices.
Many people have been telling me that Italy in general is very expensive and Lake Garda is no exception but I have also seen on different forums people saying that it is no more expensive than things in England.
As with everybody on Holiday the main ones that will be of concern for me are the prices of eating out of an evening, a coffee, a bottle of wine, a glass of wine and most importantly how much is a beer?
If anybody could advise me the average price of the above in their past experiences or advise me of any places to go for a bargain bottle of beer/meal/glass of wine I would be very appreciative.
I am by no means tight but after shelling out a lot initially for my holiday was hoping I wouldn't be extorted too much when it came to the little pleasures in life!!!
Thanking you in advance
Steve
Italian prices vary wildly between towns. If you're staying somewhere that attracts coach tours etc it will be dearer than UK but a quiet village a few miles away might be good value.
