Hi Darren

Please could you advise me which aircraft will be due to fly from Manchester to Male on 25th May 2011, flight no TOM188. Is this due to be a Thomson or First Choice plane?

As we have never been to the Maldives before want to get a good look at the atols as we are flying in so could you also advise me which rows avoid the wings for a better view?

Thanks for your help.

lucky7,

Flights to Indian Ocean destinations (Mombassa and Male) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER's. Assuming you aren't in premium (row 1-9), you're better off looking at a row towards the rear of the aircraft if you don't want any wing in your way, so anything aft of about row 30. Avoid the last row as there's no window.

Darren,Do you know if TOM 434 to Monastir is still scheduled to leave Newcastle on March 20th at 14.55?
I have read on another forum that someone has received their tickets with this flight showing.
They booked last November so I wonder if Thomson have overbooked this flight over the last few weeks with all the great deals that were available.
As we only booked 2 weeks ago I suppose that may be the reason we have been moved to the Thomas Cook flight.
I just wish Thomson would tell the truth if this is the case and not fob us off with the excuse that the airport has cancelled the flight.

Jay Trip,

The flight schedule shows the following;

Dep NCL Sun 14:55, Arr MIR 19:20, Boeing 737-800, Flight Number TOM434

Flight times are confirmed on tickets. Flights are showing as operated by TCX at 0600 now though.

You'll have to ask Thomson that.

Hi guys

I know its a long way off yet, but any idea what aircraft TOM4516 is on the 24th June LGW-CFU and TOM 4103 return is on the 4th July?

cheers

SUPERITFC,

LGW-CFU-LGW (TOM4516/4103) should be operated by an Airbus A321-200 / Boeing 757-200 respectively. I can confirm this in about a months time when I have the S11 aircraft schedule.

Hi Darren

Sorry to be a pain! You told me last night that our LGW-HOG flight on Monday was coming in from La Romana TOM060/061. Can you tell whether it is an ex FCA or ex Thomsonfly operating those flights? I am trying to find out if they have swapped an ex FCA for an ex Thomsonfly for the Holguin flight.

Thanks
Reply
Sunaddict,

It's an ex-FCA and has been on every flight in 2011 apart from 30th Jan when it was subbed due to a technical issue.

Thanks Darren. I just remember reading on here a few weeks ago that they had been alternating the LGW-HOG aircraft since the beginning of the year.
I was thinking about the possibilities of being bumped from premium.

When can we expect an update on the films available on the long haul Thomson flights, please?
