Mari I wasn't sure so I checked back a few pages.

You can select seats from 2 months prior to your departure date online officially (you'll get an email on the date), 3 months over the phone. (nicked from a previous post from Darren)

Just booked a flight only Manchester To Cancun on the 17th Sepember. Hope Thomson have their pamper packs sorted by then.

Thank you to 'gower' for your earlier reply about in flight food and entertainment .

Do you know how much they charge for their headphones?

Is there any listing for the IFE on mid haul flights to cyprus , can only find info on long haul flights ?

Many thanks , once again .

Last year headphones were £2.50, but they may have been increased for this season.

If I have booked my holidays with Thomson as a package, including flight, won't I get headphones for free? (Gatwick - Cancun)

Looking at the Thomson website it does suggest that for long-haul you'll get standard headphones included.

Make sure you take them with you when you disembark outbound so you can use them on your return leg.

Last time we flew to Cuba, they gave us small pouch, and I think it has pair in it.

I'm not even after headphones, but adapter which was included with last headphones.

Hi

I'm flying to Dalaman from Birmingham on July 21st at 0700. The flight number is TOM 648. Does anyone know what plane is used?

Julie, i've also booked the select your seat service and i was told Thomson send you an e-mail 2 months before your flight with info on how to access the seat booking system.

I got the letter from Thomson exactly 70 days before the flight, were I could choose my seats, submit details about passengers (name, passport details etc.)

Hi David or anybody in the know,

Can you tell me if IFE is still available on flights from Gatwick to Sharm over the Summer 11 period. I beleive we are flying on a 757 aircraft.

Thanks,
Pat

I believe the in flight entertainment will be available until November 2011. We flew out on a 757 to Egypt last week and there were movies on the outbound and inbound flights (buy your own headphones, £2.50)

Reclining seats are very much a mixed blessing. With so little space to start with, losing another few inches when someone in front reclines can make a flight very uncomfortable. I've witnessed a few 'heated' exchanges over this. My worst personal experience was on an old 757 ?Astraus, a few years back - the guy in front reclined- his seat came so far back I could have performed dental surgery on him!!
I try not to recline in economy, but, if the person in front does, there's little option and I usually end up apologising to the person behind me before I attempt to reclaim my space. On occasion, I've just had to play 'sardine' as there's a child sitting on a parent's lap. Makes a lot more sense at the front in premier where the seat spacing is more forgiving.

For those querying, just rung Thomsons this morning and was able to confirm and reserve seating in Thomsonfly premium seats for flight to Cancun at end of may 2011.
