Thinking about going to the Timanfaya national park but would like to know if there's a bus that runs from Playa Blanca or how much taxi would be?

There is a bus service between Playa Blanca and Puerto Del Carmen which passes the perimeter of the Timanfaya National Park. Not sure but it might take you near enough for a short taxi journey from one of the stops in the towns enroute. Other than that a taxi from Playa Blanca should be around 20 Euros one-way. There are organised bus trips available from local agents.
Your best bet is probably an organised trip. There are plenty of companies that do them or ask at the tourist information centre at the start of the pedestrianized area in the middle of town.
