Have been looking for flights for Dec 28th for 3 weeks for a while. Then on Saturday our friends came round and told us they were getting married next Feb in Cuba and would I be best man. While I am pleased for them it means that Goa has to be postponed for next year.

I hope your friends are paying for you to go on what is probably going to be an expensive holiday that you maybe wouldn't have chosen yourself.
I can never understand why people who choose to go abroad to get married expect their friends and family to drag along too, often at great expense (to the friends & family instead of the bride & groom).

Unfortunately got to pay for ourselves. Never been to Cuba so I suppose its somewhere new to try. Will miss Goa though
