Hey, I have booked a holiday for one week in Side, and was wondering if anyone had any specific recomendations of things to do when I am there with my girlfriend and her 3 year old son.

We are both 25 but interested in the local history, there is a big ampitheatre there which looks cool and some sea-side monuments that I am not sure are Greek or Roman? Also, dunno if I can get away with it but as the name suggests, I love basketball and I know it's big in Turkey, wondering if there is any courts locally?

We are staying at the 'Raga Hotel' (forum won't let me post links but it's easy to find on google)

Our holiday is self catering so some resteraunt recomendations would be cool, I heard the hotel bar/resteraunt is decent but nothing specific about the ones on the beach front.
