Hi,
We booked a holiday through Thomas cook for a week in a hoseasons holiday park. We'd chosen a 3 bed lodge and have paid in full.
We got a call on Saturday from thomas cook to say hoseasons had asked them to confirm with us that the lodge was in fact a 2 bedroom with additional sleeping for 2 in the lounge. I've checked the website and they have both advertised (sleepy willow 6 which sleeps 6 and sleepy willow which sleeps 8 ) but the one on my booking form is definitely for the 3 bed as it's called the sleepy willow.
I have a feeling that the park has overbooked somehow and we're getting moved as there's only 4 of us in our party. I'm not happy as we paid for the 3 bedroom lodge as a treat for us plus one of my children has severe epilepsy and can't really share with his sister as he would keep her awake a lot. I'm so angry, Thomas cook say it's a misprint on the website and not their fault.
What you think is reasonable? They've offered a 3 bed caravan but it wasn't what we were wanting to be honest. Am I being unreasonable asking for compensation for being mucked about?
Thanks,
Amanda
When are you going? Have they offered you any recompense? Is it here in the UK?
We've been offered nothing so far apart from the caravan and the difference in cost between the lodge and the caravan.
