Firstly as you will know, Indians always eat using their right hands as the left is used for something else. I informed my partner of this and pointed out that by the end of the two weeks, her hands will be tainted yellow from all the spices etc. She was shocked to learn this as she has beautiful hands and lovely manicured nails.
I also informed her that as this was her first trip to India, she would have to go through a rigorous immigration interview when she arrived in Goa. I had passed this interview on my first trip, hence I didn't need another! The interview would be conducted in a room near the immigration hall, prior to getting her passport stamped......but it was ok, I would wait for her "on the other side" unless she failed the interview. She asked what happened if she failed and I said I was unsure but I thought they would put her back on the airplane to return to the UK.
Just prior to leaving for Goa in March, I did let on that these were not true and she could use a knife and fork like everyone else and that there was no interview go through on her arrival in India. I was put on bread and water for a week....but it was worth it...hehe!!

So, my next quest is to get a couple more wind-ups for some friends that are coming to Goa with us next March. It will be there first time to Goa/India and well worth a good wind! They are aware of the two stories above and so I need some more.
Have you ever wound someone up with regards travelling and what was it.....
