Hi all,
Just booked for next June (2012) 10 days in Turkey at the Marti Resort deluxe hotel and upgraded to the superior rooms.
Last year we went to Marmaris so know the area but did not go to Icmeler so looking for comments on the hotel and area.

Icmeler is a lovely place and in my opinion, much nicer than Marmaris. The Marti is located on the left of the resort as you face the sea with plenty of facilities close-by. It's only a few minutes stroll to the centre so within easy reach of pretty much everything. You'll find lots of useful information on members Resort Reports. You'll find members hotel reviews for the Marti on the Hotel Reviews section.

Reading a few places and they say Marti has it's own private beach and it's sand, can anyone confirm this?

There's a section of beach for guests of the Marti in front of the hotel. However, it's not a private area as anyone can walk through. The beach is a mix of shingle and sand. None of the beach in Icmeler is pure sand, it's mainly shingle with some sand.

Well thought I would update this thread so here goes.....
Me and the misses are of to Icmeler on the 8th June for 10 days and staying at the Marti Resort deluxe hotel.
Have upgraded the room to delux or what ever its called with a sea view and reading reports on the net it looks good and we cant wait.
Anyone with updates, pics or what ever regarding this resort and hotel?

We stayed twice in the hotel a few years ago. Lovely place. We had a sea view room but it was dated then and could have been refurbished by now.
The pools are lovely, we used to like the smaller one to relax beside.,
The private beach is also nice and towels are provided round both pools and beach.
Icmeler is nice resort and The Marti is one of the best hotels in the resort, perfect locaton.

Thanks for the update but I have another question.
Is there any sports bars near the Marti so I can watch the rugby while Im away and does anyone know what TV channels are available in the Marti?
