Has anyone got a taxi from the airport to there hotel if so how much and what was the first price, i looking to get too Chich Khan yasmine hammet
I know how many miles it is so if you got too Sousse, PEK ect i can work it out, also read somewhere its white taxis only, Im used to the yellow taxis
please help if you can thanks
We have contacted our hotel and they have arranged taxis for us.
(we go in 3 weeks)
As for prices, they vary from taxi to taxi. So either set a price with the driver, or haggle.
From Monstair to PEK the price was around 30-40 dinar(£15-£20).
From Enfidha might be a bit more. When do you travel feefee1970?
Also take a look at transfer companies such as these
just dont know what to do, maybe coach would be best thanks
It seems to be a bit of "hit n miss" at the moment.
I fly out on the 4th Sept to PEK.
Any probs PM me.
I can highly recommend A2B Transfers as I've used them several times when flying into Tunis and would certainly use them from Enfidha. From Monastir I just used to grab a cab and haggle, but from what I've heard they are as rare as hens' teeth at the new airport.
Also any local taxi prices to any resort from Enfidha would help.
Ive been quoted £55 return in taxi on the list above, if I cannot get some real info, i be on a shuttle bus as im not going to risk the unknown
i know for fact a taxi fom monastir to sousse is 20 dinar one way however online taxi quote is 80 dinar some 4x higher so simply enter Enfidha airport details and resort and divde by 4 MAYBE should at least give us a rough guide as to cost would you not think ???
im just worried that there will be only one taxi if lucky, that says something like 100 dinars, or what if i get off and theres no taxis what then
i think the taxi would be 30/40 dinars going from the mileage, not many have got a taxi, and i dont think theres a rank just a taxi on call service
Much easier at present to book a transfer with one of the companies listed above. I'm a great one for grabbing a cab but certainly wouldn't risk it from Enfidha at present.
Is there a taxi rank this is my new question, i did go to my travel agent today, and said please add on transfares as im worried about getting a taxi and she said no theres a rank
On the Enfidha website it states there is a 'taxi on call service' but does not stipulate a tax rank ?
Thomson want to charge £100 for transfers So I'm deciding to pre-book a taxi (yes another 1st, getting brave.)
a2btransfers seem to want £90 for 4 people for a taxi yet transfers4u only want £32, considering Thomson said we would need 2 taxi as there are 4 of us is there any way to find out what the 2 different companies will use as kinda worried that will book then end up with 2 of us left at the airport
I could ring both companies but they seem to be using 0844 numbers.
Has anyone used transfers4u as they seem alot cheaper.
We had taken all our booking information which verified the booking and the local company ensured that we were booked in for our return journey.
Now I don't know what happened on this occasion and I have complained to Transfers4u (part of Thomas Cook) and I am still awaiting there response.
If you don't want to use the 0844 number try this one 01784 270062
Will ring them on the local number
I've just had a look at Transfers4u and there are only a few hotels liisted, although there is an option to leave the accommodation blank. Do they serve all hotels or only the select few?
Have just checked our holiday booking and was thinking we were going to Monastir airport with a short taxi ride to our hotel in Skanes and nearly had a heart attack! Going to Enfidha airport instead. Now need to book a transfer. Thanks for the all the posts espcially the ones with the transfer sites.

Having rang them up they seemed very unsure about what hotels they go to but seemed to think the drivers would go to any.
Waiting on them to ring back as they were unsure if we would get 1 taxi or need to book 2.
Hope they have more solid answers when they ring back.
Just a quick update on Transfers4u and my complaint above, I have just received a reply from them and they have looked in to my complaint, they have apologised for an 'admin error' and are going to refund 70% of the outward transfer costs.
