There shouldn't be any problem, you've paid for the holiday and you should get the same allocated room with no extra charges.
It will be classed as a no show - if he doesn't turn up! have you not got a friend/relative who could take his place?|(for around 30 quid name change)

I'm not certain it's relevant but who is the lead name on the booking? If it's you it's not a problem but if it's him we may need to think a bit.
Hi mine is the lead name, so should not be a problem. I think I will just turn up to go and see what happens if its just me. Hopefully my husband will feel up to going. If not, well there will be somebody to look after the cat and I can cancel the cattery booking! that should be straightforward at least.
I`ve actually done this on our/my first holiday abroad. Wife and me turned up at the airport and my wife said "I`m too scared to fly, I`m going home" After several people talking to her, nobody could change her mind, so I went myself. No problems.
After 3 days of me phoning her and telling her it was great, she changed her mind and arranged flight only to join me. The airline was fantastic, gave her a full escort and sat by her on the plane.
Now I cant stop her flying, 2 holidays a year and always wants the window seat.
