Ieuan Air" service...
I understand that Manx2 subcontract to a German company called FLM who use a Dornier 228, in which case http://www.flm-aviation.eu/upload/2596233_Dornier_DO_228.jpg (I don't think that weather is in Wales, probably their base in Kiel!).
18 seats, twice a day, 5 days a week, £1.2 million per year subsidy.

But don't be put off by the smallness of the plane, Helen. It's an adventure flying on these little planes - a reminder of what all air travel once was The Dorniers are similar in size to the Twin Otters now used up here in Scotland for flights to the smaller islands such as Barra - I love the whole experience. Flying somehow feels much more real!
Thanks both - just having a look at something different!
I've flown with Manx2 a couple of times, they're quite a nice little airline. They are known as the airline with no aircraft though! All the aircraft they used are leased and operated by other companies (FLM / Van Air) on their behalf but I've always had a pleasant experience with them.
Darren
Thanks Darren
