Any recommendations please?
Friend has been to the Continental and recommends it very highly. So I might go for that one.
I want a holiday that is near the town centre and preferrably with a pool.
I can recommend the Grand Hotel Royal ,The Grand Hotel Ambasciatori and Grand Hotel Riviera.
The Royal is 5 mins walk to Piazza Tasso and the Ambasciatori and Riviera 10 mins
All have amazing views out over the Bay of Naples if you book a sea view room which usually has a hefty supplement but well worth it.
The Capodimonte is also a winner but definitely book a sea view otherwise you could be looking at a cliff face.
There are some nice partially sea view rooms overlooking the pool with less supplement.
The Royal is my favourite with the others not far behind.
