I have prescription glasses and tend to go for designer frames, still trying to be trendy anyway this time I got Transitions lens and they are excellent, changing very quickly when going in or out doors and as it gets sunny or shady.

I have a pair of reactolite glasses for everyday use but if I just want sunglasses then 99p is the price I want to pay. I have pairs in the house, in the car, in my golf bag etc and if they get lost or broken then it doesn't matter, easy to replace. If I paid more than a tenner for a pair then I would spend far to much time worrying about them.

I always pick up designer sunglasses in Tunisia - genuine fakes, never paying more than about £5 . I have a habit of losing them and have 'tidied away' several pairs in the house which I simply can't find. My only genuine ones are a couple of pairs of Ben de Lisi for which I collected coupons with the Daily Mail - there is no way I would have paid almost £100 which they were purported to be worth! Since having my cataracts removed a couple of years ago I only need glasses for reading small print.

I have had more expensive sunglasses in the past, I have had Guess and Missoni ones. The trouble is I like to change style all the time , so I now tend to go fro cheaper ones, usually about £15 from River Island or Accessorise
