DIRECTIONS to The Carvery: heading from Calangute to candolim on the main road, go past the football ground on your right and the small market on your left..then turn right down Candolim Beach Road (there is a chinese restaurant on one corner of the road and a small ciggarrette kiosk on the right as you turn in) then follow the road down about approx 250 mtrs and the carvery is UPSTAIRS on your left hand side, the steps are to tcome on up and look for the rowdy lot!!! we are usually at the tables that back onto the staicase (by the bookcase) but if unsure just ask at the bar or one of the waiters.....(their ia a board downstairs u can add your name too)

No julian01 it does not.

I just want to say to everyone that if HT goes offline for good as it has done recently, and we all lose touch the meets will be continuing at the Carvery next season and the remainder of this season so please come if anyone wants my email just in case please pm me...i will post this on a separate thread so that hopefully all HT'ers will see it

Thought I'd lost a limb over the last few days, glad to see HT back.

I was blaming the Indian Network

First timer, fly out on 1st March, so will try to make meeting on 7th March & 14th March
Staying Baga Beach area so hope it is not that far to travel.

WillieL its not far at all grab a taxi and check out the directions at the top of this thread..i am sure you wont regret it have added your name

We have not been able to go for the last couple of weeks and have to go to a birthday party this week, so really missing our normal get together so it looks like the 7th will be our reunion date also the dry days and the silly early closing rules will have finished by then

Spike's gonna be around from 18th March onwards (and 'tother half - Dee)

We had a very small gathering at the last meet, julian01 arrived about 7.30 with his son and was about to give up and go when we got there around 8.45 after getting stuck in a massive traffic jam in Calangute by Day-tripper, (they have dumped load after load of rocks on the road between the bends by After Seven reducing the road to a single lane for several hundred metres), Dragon and son followed us up the stairs but Mrs D has dragon flu so stayed home and Corrine & Terry arrived a bit later but that was it

Still we had a few and a few more sitting by the bar and we could just about hear each other above the music but the music has got to go next season if we are going to carry on at Rams on a Wednesday
