malta for families

Would like to offer a few comments about Malta. The people are very friendly especially in towns such as St. Pauls, Qawra and Bugibba. They love children and are very accomadating in restaruants etc. with small children ( we have a four year old!). The standard in Malta is much lower than in England with parks and rides basic. We have been to Malta three times and plan to go back again. What Malta lacks in theme parks and tarmac!!! it certainly makes up for in charm, character and friendliness. Feel free to ask any questions.
I would have agree with a lot you say, the streets around the Bugibba area are in a very poor state although I am not mad on Spain at least they have got there act together and made there resorts a lot better, it is about time Malta followed and made there roads and pavments save to walk on. Now they are in the E U and prices seem to be on the up perhaps they will, or will they go like the Greek's and put the prices up and not bother about the tourists.
It may be a good thing that the Knights of Malta left so meny sites to look at or they my start losing out on tourist income, ( well thats my view for what its worth )
