we are going to Paloma Renaissance this March and believe that some but not all the a la cart restaurants are open on the complex the entertainment appears to be mainly indoors in the evening as it can be a little chilly but there winter program according to the reviews is good there is plenty open to keep you busy but we shall see :tup we are going for some R+R so not that fussed, if the snow they are getting at the moment does not clear though we may ski everywhere lol :duh the weather by all accounts though should be fairly good going on past records but we shall still have our fingers and toes firmly crossed.

hi suzie.
we have been to both the royal dragon and the wings in january. the season does not officialy
start till the first of may,in both hotels most of the activity's were indoors but when the weather was good
they went outdoors to the terrace or to the beach, in the dragon this year even the pool bar was open as lots of people were lying on the sun beds as it was quite warm. indoors both these hotels have a games area with 3 or 4 pooltables, air hockey, pinball machines etc, etc. ooooh and a two lane bowling alley.the dragon has the biggest indoor pool i have ever been in. both have sauna, gym, turkish hamman and massage parlor.at least two of the a la
cart were open.most of the big hotels in larabeach, side, belek and antalya areas are open all year round. hope this helps. kind regards. Gavin.

Thanks for the replies, Neil and Gavin.
Due to the few flights available in March from the UK, I realised the choice of
restaurants etc would be limited due to occupancy but was hoping that maybe one
or two hotels might be busier and have more going on.
We are going to Lara Beach in April anyway but the March holiday is for a special occasion -
maybe the Canaries would be best in March? Your views would be appreciated. x

Suzie, maybe Egypt would be a better bet? You would be sure of the sunshine as it's an all year round destination.

Thanks for your replies. :tup
It has taken me years to get my husband interested in
visiting Turkey (now he loves it!) but I think it would be very hard work trying
to talk him into going to Egypt (even if I paid him!!)
