Hi the two month rule Is still there in fact you should have a note on your visa stating this. It's a pain!!!

Unfortunately you will not be able to return. I don't think they want tourists.

The two month rule does still apply. You could go apply via consulate for a return within the two months, not sure of the process but may be worth a try.

I down loaded a form over the internet, from the Indian Embassy, asking for re-entry to India, paid a 9 pound postal order and sent it to the London Embassy, on Monday 20th of Feb, received my passport back this morning, with the re-entry visa, it couldnt be simpler really. I have missed the plane on the 22nd of Feb but I have now booked to go back out to Goa on 1st of March.

Way hey, I am on my way

Hi...

I'm actually a 'free' spirit... :)
Children Walking Tall will always remain close to my heart (but I am not 'with' them).....

I am happy to help anyone that is doing good work for children...
