Not booked any holidays yet which is not like me usually booked by Jan by latest.
Really want to go back to one of the Greek islands, but due to all the problems I am dithering about booking, dont fancy getting caught up in strikes etc.
What do others think...would you or wouldnt you go?

A big fat yes from me Margaret. We've booked to go to Corfu in August and I can't wait. Hopefully everything will be fine. I haven't heard enough to put me off it yet anyway

Can't see there being a lot of difference on the islands. We have booked for Parga (which happens to be on the mainland) in September. I did read somewhere that there would be less chance of strikes at the airports etc on weekends so our flight is on Sunday. Also will keep some euros in hand just in case. Don't want to be stuck if there is a panic and the Greeks empty the cash machines. Also booked a package instead of independent.
Can't wait, really looking forward to it.

We went to Tingaki about 11 years ago. Do you know if the Ilios hotel and apartments are still there? It was a great place.

After MUCH discussion with my partner, we ended up booking for 2 weeks in July for Santa Eulalia Ibizia. We decided to go to Tingaki in Sept for a late week. Thanks for all your replies

I went there about 20 years ago and realy loved it!x
we are off to Turkey this yr and already I am planning my return to the Greek Islands 2013, I am slightly panicked that we arent going to be there this yr but one yr away I can just about cope with but not too. I also feel that we have had so many great holidays there that I would like to support them in their time of need.
