Happy Easter to everyone. I was thinking back to 2 special Easter Sundays. One was in Barcelona. We visited the Sagrada Familia and we stood in front of it in awe, studying the incredible detail of it and thinking what an appropriate place to be on the day. The second time was in Cape Town when we very lucky to be able to visit a black township's church. The singing was so beautiful it gave me goosebumps and I came close to crying.
Nearly forgot a third one- we passed a favela just outside Rio and walking out were hundreds of people in their best clothes, walking to the nearby church.
I don't go to church here nowadays but I do appreciate how important religion is to so many( in a good way of course)

We usually spend it in Datca, Turkey. The main tourist season doesn't start until May and so it is quiet and the weather usually lovely. This is the time of the year to see the spring flowers at their best and the chicks have usually hatched along with the new born lambs and goats. This year though I went a week early and today I am spending it at home in UK gardening.
Generally I am at home however was away in Scotland this past weekend.
Unfortunately this year the weather wasnt that good.
This year I was on the beach in la Carihuela :sun2, last year somewhere else in la Carihuela and the year before somewhere in Agadir, morocco.
Normally at work but I spent one in a caravan years ago
