Hi MHBTK....I 'm happier if I over estimate....and means will still be about same when I finaly get to booking it...would prefer 2 twin rooms ....so the lads can argue in peace... ..they seem to get on better when im not there...and have my heart set on manuela's.....dont know if he has apartments...but I like being in the main hotel building...am always worried that the apartments would be in a seperate building or too small for us ...as mine are big lads....the baby is about 5ft 11 now...takes a medium top ...and a 32 waist...and I worry that the beds meant for children ...and dont think an apartment would be much cheaper...and if rooms as nice on the pics on the net Im happy...may be 5 of us ...dont ask...but the baby's courtin...he's in love ...on his facebook he says he's engaged .... ...not a word to me
do you think thats about right for the flights or can they be got cheaper...maybe different time to book
Hi Kedi....was thinking about peddaloes every day...they luv them...and the baby might be wanting to try a watersport
As everybody says, it won't cost you that much on the dolmus so there's a saving. I think you've probably over-estimated the holiday cost a little but that's good 'cos you always feel better if you actually make a saving. I'm getting excited for you!!
You will usually get a lot more space in an apartment than a hotel room and the extra beds are normally 2 sofabeds so plenty big enough for your lads. I'm not trying to change your mind, just giving you more options
When did they start selling the flights for next june....I will need to be on the ball next year...want to book manuela's as soon as I can for 2weeks in june 2011....and ready to book the flights soon as they come on sale...dont know how Im going to syncronise the two....cant book manuela's properly untill I know what days in the week the flights are....and cant book flights till I know Ive a firm booking in place at manuela's ....how would you go about doing it
Kedi.....got my heart set on manuela's now...know hubby would love it there
When we used to book flights and a hotel, we always did the flights first - it's a difficult decision isn't it as you're so set on going to the Manuela? We always take sandwiches and a drink with us to Bodrum airport as the prices are horrendous - you think they're expensive over here? You ain't seen nothing yet LOL!!
Have a look at Easyjet too as they are usually very reasonable if you book early. If you register at the Easyjet site you can ask to be notified when the flights are released too.
Kedi, just a reminder that Easyjet don't fly to Bodrum for us Northerners!!
Oh really I didn't know that . You never know though, they might by 2011 !
Let's hope so Kedi - it would be another option for us. The other day I found a brilliant deal from Luton to Istanbul (somewhere I'm desperate to visit) for only £53 return - brilliant only it would cost me more than that to get down to Luton!! Easyjet fly to Dalaman from Manchester but not Bodrum - despite an on-line petition to ask them to fly to Bodrum. As you say, maybe by 2011 - I'm sure there must a gap in the Bodrum flight list as nothing seems to have replaced Excel since they went bust (we used to use them a lot). We find that Thomas Cook or Onur Air are the two best airlines for us out of Manchester. We could also fly from Liverpool but they have shorter season of flying to Bodrum than from Manchester.
No night time entertainment for adults...and a bit expensive for meals and drinks....but wouldnt be a problem if you can go other hotels resturants for meals ect and in the evening...which is what seems to go on....and the okaliptus seems to be idealy placed to do just that
This would suit me as first turkey holiday as wouldnt have to worry about doing DIY..
3oth june to 14th july ....thomascook...£1767
Now have a package ...so will be esier to track for price....between now and next july ...and find out best time for booking....tweetie
Tweetie Pie,Wait until first week in June next year when aegeanflights go on sale for 2011,I booked mine on June 2nd this year for 2010 and have paid £160 each inc baggage.

hi you all...just giving this a nudge for some one asking about Bitez....tweetie
.... and the good news is that Easyjet have now started flying to Bodrum for Liverpool. The route doesn't start until June this year but at least it's another option which us Northerners never have before. Now that's progress
