All the information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). I can't post the seat map for copyright reasons (see your pm's though).

Tried to book seat numbers this AM 89 days prior to departure 1st call to Thomson Airways Indian Call Centre."please call back on the 18th June seating plan not loaded yet".
2nd Call This time a lady at the Indian call centre " can you call back Thursday or Friday as seat plan not loaded yet"
Listened to Thomson Airway message "you can book your seat numbers 90day Prior to your departure" Nearly as hard as winning the lottery.Trying to book a seat by number.
So it seems it depends on who takes your call.I will try again on Friday.

qatarman, I don't think I've ever got through to an Indian call centre. Are you ringing 02476 283046?
Reply
qatarman,

It's not a question of who you speak to. They can only pass on the information that is in front of them. As Sunaddict mentioned earlier, it's whenever the flight is uploaded on to the system. This is sometimes before or after the 90 days. I know it's frustrating, but you just have to keep at it. I find it easier just to check online rather than keep calling.

The number i used was 02476282828. Darren i know it is a lottery as to who you draw when you call, for our trip to Mexico last March the wife called 90days before outbound and booked the seat numbers but had to wait 14 days to book the inbound however a couple on the same flight who we were talking to managed to book out/inbound 89days prior to the outbound flight. As you say just keep plugging away.

Sunaddict,
Thank you for the number my wife managed to book outbound seat numbers with that number, she was told to ring back in a week and she will be able to book inbound seats.
Thanks again.

Hi! Does anyone know whether all the Thomson 767s have been repainted or just individual ones? Also does anyone know which aircraft as in registration code will operate TOM 2622 on Sat 16th June from Manchester to Palma?

Thank you in advance, sparky123.

sparky123,

Please refer to previous replies to your posts. Only G-OBYG has been repainted in the Dreamliner scheme. All the others are in their native liveries. It's too early to know the registration operating a flight this far in advance.

Hi,

I am traveling on TOM162 Manchester - Dominican on 6 September.

Does anyone have any idea which version of the 767 the plane will be? It is about the time that I should be booking seats :)

Thanks in advance!

leroy,

MAN-POP-MAN (TOM162/3) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi all!

Booked to go to Dom Rep Punta Cana in 5 weeks time for a 4th time and my 5th time in a Premium seat. I loved the footrests and to be honest its one of the main reasons I book it! has any of the aircraft still got it? I acutually preferred the ex thomson aircraft but loved the fact that the ex first choice you could ajust the height of the footrest. I'm actually gutted that they are getting taken out!! It wont waste my flight but it means I cant really move my feet and legs without getting out the seat!

Thanks

Hi Darren,

I was wondering if you could advise which aircraft type is scheduled for TOM556 Manchester to Sal, Cape Verde on the 26th September, returning TOM557 on the 3rd October? I have a feeling it may be B757?

Also, as far as I understand TOM no longer serve meals on midhaul. However, I was reading a couple of recent reviews of our hotel on tripadvisor and people mentioned that theyhad travelled with TOM and received complimentary in-flight meals. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is true?

Many thanks

Hello again.

I posted earlier this year and was informed that TOM 2462/3 MAN-IBZ on 14/28 June would be operated by 737-800 aircraft. I was holding out for a brand new plane and got rather excited(!).

I believe that todays (7/6) 2462/3 flights were operated by G-THOP, a 14 yrs old 300 series.

Is this correct? Airfleets show this plane in storage? Will it be the same next week?

I have no issues with safety etc but I was hoping with the recent influx of the NG series I was in for a treat.

Furthermore, where does the previous filght operate from? I`m set for a late departure and I assume it will have completed a rotation prior?

Thanks in advance

Travels from EDI,

MAN-SID-MAN (TOM557/8) are operated by Boeing 757-200. Meals are no longer pre-bookable on short and medium haul flights, they remain complimentory on long haul although Cape Verde is an exception and meals are still served. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
