If you are off to the Gulf Coast of Florida in the next couple of days it is worth noting that several roads have been closed due to flooding and there has been considerable beach erosion as a result of tropical storm "Debby". A Tropical storm warning is in place for the coast from around Sarasota all the way up to the panhandle. Although not a full blown hurricane it took the worst possible track for this area of Florida with 24 hour rainfall totals in excess of 10 inches in most areas and locally as much as 15 inches.
Conditions should steadily improve from late Tuesday onwards but it looks like there is going to be a few more days spent clearing things up.
Flights in and out of Florida have not been affected.
Didn't Chris mention that he was going 'Storm Chasing' this week - wonder if this is the place?
Could be Miss Pink. Just had a thought, if Chris had booked in advance which I think he did, how did he know there was going to be a storm?
I am guessing these storm chasers do an awful lot of investigations beforehand, either that or he has close contact from the 'Man upstairs'
