Sorry, not been to that hotel, but noticed you're vegetarian. We are going to Las Dalias at the end of the month, we went there last January too. They cater for vegetarians (which we are too). They have choice of pasta then choice of sauce separate, at least one is veggie (tomato), sometimes too. I also fill up on chips and salad, and sometimes ice cream. I never really have a 'dessert' though, they seem to be glazed fruit pastry type things, and I don't want to be eating gelatine, so never sure.

I'm sure many hotels cater for veggies, and if you read enough reviews you'll find one that mentions someone being veggie and whether or not they could eat much.

This hotel does cater on a limited basis for non meat eaters as do most hotels.

Why not ring them. They speak English and I'm sure will be able to answer your questions..... 0034 922712555

I have actually stayed in the las dalias but didnt like the pool as it was too deep .. yes i will ring the bahia princess to ask bout the vegetarian food .. also will look into the depth of the water in this pool too .. i hope its all ok as i really would like to spend my honeymoon in a nice hotel as usually only go cheap.

You may not be aware but using the text style to post is not our prefered method. Could you post using full spelling of words.

There are 2 pools at the top of the steps that are only knee deep and there is a large pool at the bottom that is 1.4M deep (about chest height)

Hi I didnt understand about the text message text either
Stayed at the Bahia last March for 10th aniversary. Food was good with a good selection so you should have no problem. One of the pools is heated (quite warm) which made a really big difference, it was lovely and that one gradually gets deeper to about 5ft I think so you should be fine. The staff were great and the ala carte restaurants did give you more of a feel of romance than the main restaurant. The only thing I would say is that the bar at the Costa Adeje Bahia Principe is not really great for snuggle up romatic chats but you can always walk over the sister hotel for that which is more of a quite setting. I e-mailed in advance and they put champagne and flowers in the room for our aniversary. I think it is a good choice. But be aware you are in the middle of nowhere so will have to hire a car for getting about. We found it cheaper to book here.

Also does anyone know if they are still having problems with their towels round the pool

Are you getting your hotel's confused?

This thread is about the Hotel Bahia Princess in Torviscas not the one you mention - The Costa Adeje Bahia Principe - Which is as you say in Adeje.

I am going to this hotel in mid November and just wondered if as well as towels in the rooms, pool towels were available to save taking your own. Also does anyone know if you can upgrade to all inclusive at this hotel when you arrive and how much it costs.

Thanks

You get nice brown pool towels, so no need to bring your own.

While some princess hotels have recently gone AI, the two in Fanabe, Tenerife have not. So you will need to bring pennies for your BWOOOOOZE!

hi all .. we're staying in the bahia princess for our honeymoon from the 2nd dec but i notice people saying that you get a telling off for using electrical equipment in your room, so does this mean they supply a hairdryer already in your room & what about plugging in your mobile charger .. can anyone give me the info on this .. thanks lynda

Hi pinklillyella,
My wife and I stayed at the Guyamina princess a couple of weeks ago, the sister holtel to Bahia which is next door. We heard the same about the Guyamina, they were more thinking of kettles than hair driers. The Guyamina had a good hair drier in the bathroom. I left an mp3 player charger pluged in all day and was still on charge when we came back later in the day. Not sure about the Bahia but I expect it would be the same. As makum110 says, the rooms also come with pool towels so we did not bring any with us (saved on the luggage wieght) and I even saw people walk to the beach with them. Have a good honeymoon, we went away to celebrate out 25th wedding anniversary and had a very good time, just wish we were back there now, weather is cold and dark in the UK.

Hope this helps.
Best wishes
Happychappy.
