That's a stunning photo Chris, great capture of the clouds and lightening strike. Nature at it's best. Was that a long exposure in the rough direction of the storm? It's normally quite frustrating that the lightening is never in the right place but you've certainly nailed that one.

                This was taken looking North West around sunset. It was near Broken Bow, Nebraska 
 As it was still quite light exposure was ONLY 4 seconds ISO 100, focus set to infinity at f9 I believe. I got quite a few but this is my favourite.
