I am hoping to take my 13 year old foster daughter on holiday to one of the canary islands in October this year. Can someone give me some recommendations on the following please?

1) I have heard that Gran Canaria South is the warmest canary island in October - is this true? I have only been to Tenerife (many times), Lanza and Fuerte so I have no experience of Gran Canaria.

2) As she will not be allowed to share a room with myself and my husband I will be looking for either a 2 bedroomed apartment or a hotel room with an adjoining room. Can anyone recommend a suitable venue? Ideally I would like to go all inclusive and be in an area where I can walk to a lot of places - like you can in the south of Tenerife.
