Hi Fiona , I enjoyed your report , we once had one night in Bangkok ( there is a song called that aswell ). Then we flew onto Phuket and went on a star cruise to Singapore and back , when we arrived in the morning we were really jet lagged but we went out to Patpong market and I've still got my gucci wallet which is in perfect condition ! As you say there are girly bars along one side but if you're a couple they leave you alone . Strangely I like the manicness about the place yet the people seem so relaxed and friendly , we will have to go back to see all the must see sights though .

I think you call it " culturally enlightening " We also had a tuk tuk ride back as well ! I think Thailand is an amazing place really unique and great food too .
